Paul Fortier
Board Vice-President
Paul has been interested in flowing water since he was a child. He grew up on the watershed in Bedford NH. Even before he knew what a riparian zone was, he always found himself there exploring. Thirty years ago, he moved to the Lakes Region of NH and has lived on the shores of Jackson Pond for 16 years. He spends time exploring the vernal pools that flow to Jackson Pond and in his mind, he can follow these pools all the way to Plum Island, home to the annual Winter Plunge.
Paul has spent his career as a self-employed carpenter. He finds joy and inspiration in walking out his front door to observe the flora and fauna that surrounds him. He is proud to be a part of an organization that is dedicated to the preservation of the watershed.
