Merrimack Restoration Partnership

MRWC is the lead sponsor for the Merrimack Restoration Partnership, part of the Massachusetts Division of Ecological Restoration’s (DER) regional partnership program.

DER’s goal for the Partnerships Program is to increase the pace and scale of ecological restoration in Massachusetts by building the capacity of local and regional organizations to collaboratively advance restoration work. The Partnerships Program aims to build this capacity by providing funding and technical support to develop, lead, and support Regional Restoration Partnerships that work to restore degraded aquatic ecosystems and increase climate resiliency. The Merrimack Restoration Partnership is funded through RFR DER 2027-RRPAG, BD-26-1046-DER-FWE01-124722.
