Old Town Hill hike

See the mouth of the Merrimack from a spectacular vantagepoint — the summit of Old Town Hill in Newbury, Massachusetts. This hike will have great views of the lower Merrimack Valley and the Great Marsh. On a clear day, there are sights along the coast from the top of the hill, including the beaches of Plum Island and the Isles of Shoals.
A Trustees of Reservations property, Old Town Hill has a history of agricultural and cultural significance, and we look forward to sharing this charming location with you! The hike will begin at 11 AM on Saturday, May 18.
