From Coal to Solar: A Plan for New England (Webinar)

The last functioning coal-fired power plant in New England is in our back yard in Bow, NH. Join the Merrimack River Watershed Council to learn about the impact this power plant has on our ecosystem, climate, and the energy grid. We need to take immediate action to mitigate the effects of the climate crisis; this includes halting the use of fossil fuels like coal, and switching to renewable energy like solar.

MRWC will lead the first half of the session, discussing the impact of the coal-fired plant on the Merrimack and surrounding areas. ReVision Energy will lead the second half of this virtual discussion, focusing on how you can be part of this clean energy solution by using solar to power your heat, hot water, and charge an Electric Vehicle. This will save you money and end reliance on the Bow coal plant. There will be time for Q&A with both MRWC and ReVision. This event is free but please register here.
