City of the Dam Walking Tour
Join MRWC for a 2 mile, 1.5 hour guided tour of the urban portion of the Merrimack River. We will discuss the infrastructure surrounding the river, the lesser-known history of the mills, and the historical sites that lead to the creation of the City of Lawrence.
Where: We will meet at the parking lot on the intersection of Amesbury street and Lowell Street in Lawrence. There is a large surface parking lot and parking building behind the YMCA, do not park in the actual YMCA parking lot.
