Winter Crow Roost – The Crow Show
Every winter evening at dusk an unusual and spectacular phenomenon occurs along the banks of the Merrimack River in Lawrence — thousands of crows arrive from across the region, noisily flock together in trees, and settle down for the night. It’s a sight you’ll never forget.
The crows roost at different times and different spots each day. Please follow Craig Gibson’s instagram and go to his website for the location and time each day. The crows typically roost around sunset in Lawrence on the Merrimack River.
However a good place to start is the Great Stone Dam in Lawrence, MA , Abe Bashara Boathouse or River Front State Park 30 minutes to an hour before sunset.
