Spring Event – May 19, 2026
Join us for An Evening for the Merrimack
Tuesday, May 19, 6–8 PM | The Deck, Salisbury, MA

The Merrimack River is more than a waterway.
It’s the lifeblood of our region, connecting communities from the White Mountains to the Atlantic coast and providing clean drinking water to 700,000 people across Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
For nearly 50 years, the Merrimack River Watershed Council has been working to keep this river clean, accessible, and resilient. This spring, we’re bringing together our supporters and community members for an evening cocktail reception to celebrate our progress and tackle the challenges still ahead.
What’s at stake:
From emerging pollution threats in Newburyport Harbor to ensuring our communities have the resources they need to protect local waterways, the work ahead requires all of us.
Support our critical work:
– Monitoring water quality at critical hotspots across the watershed
– Advocating for state and federal protections for clean water
– Engaging community members in river restoration and stewardship
Come for the conversation, the connection, and the chance to be part of something bigger. Whether you’ve been with us for years or you’re just discovering the work we do, there’s a place for you at the table.
Join us Tuesday May 19, 6 – 8 PM at the Deck in Salisbury, MA for cocktails and heavy appetizers and a night of celebrating the resilience and future of the Merrimack River!
