Dracut Public Meeting – Beaver Brook Dams

On Thursday, February 27th at 7:00 pm, the town of Dracut is hosting a public outreach meeting to talk about three potential dam removals on Beaver Brook. This project is being supported by the MVP program and the Merrimack Restoration Partnership. These projects are an exciting opportunity to improve Dracut’s resiliency and reconnect aquatic habitat. If you are a resident of Dracut or the surrounding area and would like to show up to learn more about the project, please consider attending! MRWC and Lowell Parks and Conservation Trust staff will be in attendance.

The meeting will consist of a presentation by engineering consultants GZA, followed by an opportunity for questions. Snacks and childrens’ activities will be provided.

This public meeting will be held at the Board of Selectmen’s chamber (62 Arlington St.) in Dracut, with options to join remotely as well. Please register with the town of Dracut before attending.
