Deer Jump Reservation hike

Join MRWC’s John Macone as we hike this lovely meandering trail that parallels the Merrimack River. We’ll talk about the river’s ecology and history, we’ll explore interesting sights along the route, and we’ll learn about an interesting drinking water testing program that residents of Andover, Dracut, Lawrence an Lowell can participate in.

This hike is about 2 miles in length, along trails that in some areas are uneven.  Please be sure to wear hiking boots or similar shoes. The hike will last about 1.5 hours.

Our hike starts and ends at the entrance to Deer Jump Reservation on Launching Road, Andover. Please note that there is no parking lot. All parking is along the side of the road.
