2021 Massachusetts Open Space Conference – Week 2

Virtual Open Space Conference – Every Thursday in March (4th, 11th, 18th, 25th) from 2pm- 3:30pm and a networking session at 7pm- 8pm

In previous years, dozens of open space committee members and other town volunteers have attended this event to learn from the experiences of one another. This year, municipal leaders and town volunteers will share their first-hand experiences for successful conservation techniques, available funding sources, and innovative thinking in eight different workshops. If you serve on your town’s Open Space Committee or some other voluntary committee that is interested in the protection and stewardship of open space, the 2021 Massachusetts Open Space Conference is a great opportunity for peer-to-peer learning, networking, and inspiration.

This conference is FREE to attend.

This event is being collaboratively organized by the North Quabbin Regional Landscape Partnership, Mount Grace Land Conservation TrustSoutheastern Massachusetts Pine Barrens AllianceSudbury Valley Trustees, and Merrimack River Watershed Council. Funding for this event is being provided by the MA Working Forest Initiative, in partnership with UMass-Amherst and the MA Department of Conservation and Recreation.
