Tioga River Shoreline Tree Planting

Join us to plant trees along the Tioga River, restoring the banks with native trees and shrubs to improve water quality for humans, fish and wildlife.
Volunteers are needed to plant seedlings along the river as it flows through open fields, on both the upstream and downstream side of South Road. Signs will direct attendees to parking areas, then to a check-in area. Staff and volunteers will provide an overview of the Tioga River Floodplain Restoration Initiative, demonstrate how to plant a tree, and remain available for questions along the way.
Saturday May 20th from 9am – Noon (Rain date 5/21) located in the fields along South Road next to Tioga Drive; Belmont, NH
Registration is FREE, but required. Please click HERE to register.
