Lauren Zielinski

NH Water Resources - Program Manager

Lauren brings to the Watershed Council a decade of experience in watershed restoration, ecohydrology, integrated water resources management, and capacity development, working on projects across the US and in several countries in sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, and North Africa. Before coming to MRWC, she coordinated environmental flow projects where she combined hydrological, ecological, and social requirements to make flow recommendations to meet environmental objectives. She holds a B.Sc. in Earth and Environmental Engineering from Columbia University in New York and a joint M.Sc. in Ecohydrology from University of Lodz in Poland, the Federal University of Espirito Santo in Brazil, and UNESCO-IHE in The Netherlands through the Erasmus Mundus program. Growing up in Canterbury and Bow in New Hampshire, Lauren is happy to apply her experience to conserve and restore her home watershed of the Merrimack River.
