Piscataquog River Park Clean-up Extravaganza!

Join the Friends of Piscataquog River Park, Manchester Parks and Recreation, and the Merrimack River Watershed Council for a day outside to clean up the Piscataquog River Park! We’re looking for volunteers to help remove invasive species and pick up trash from the park in order to make it a more enjoyable place to relax and enjoy nature. And as a thank you to our wonderful volunteers, we’ll be providing everyone lunch!

The clean-up will be on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 9 am to 1 pm – rain or shine. We will meet at the entrance to the park near the baseball diamond in the George W. Smith Complex, and there is plenty of parking on site. Kids are welcome!

No experience is necessary to volunteer. A short training will be provided along with tools, gloves, trash bags, and other supplies. You may need to walk through mud, work within tree branches, and wander into the woods, so please wear appropriate footwear and clothing for working outdoors in spring.

Pre-registration is required. You can sign up here!
